Asset Management
Transfer your footage, photography, design, style frames, to me by way of FTP, large file transfer service, or the tried-and-true FedEx’d hard drive. My data server is a Glyph RAID designed for media and configured for redundancy; powered by an over-spec’d battery backup system. Projects and media are archived on external drives and stored safely away for your peace of mind.
Production Versatility
A single person DSLR rig to a fully crewed digital cinematography team. My work experience has given me many opportunities to production manage and/or DP on a wide range of projects from broadcast to corporate communications. My personal production rig is a workhorse Sony a6300 Super 35 4k mirrorless body fitted with Canon prime lensing feeding an Atomos Shogun 4k ProRes Recorder/Monitor. It comes with much of the rigging and production support – rod rig, follow focus, matte box, a collection of large format filters, jib, slider, ARRI and Litepanels lighting, Sennheiser audio – that your project may require. If you need to operate at a higher level, I have extensive experience as a RED and Canon Cinema EOS DP/operator and a network of partner freelancers that can be configured based on your project’s goals.
Post Fidelity
My edit suite is powered by an Intel Core i7 iMac running a handful of industry standard software suites, primarily Adobe’s Creative Cloud, Pro Tools 12, and DaVinci Resolve. I maintain full color and pixel precision from NLE to critical viewing by way of a Blackmagic Ultrastudio output box and Sony 21″ HD broadcast monitor. My audio monitoring system has been fine tuned through reference noise testing to ensure my room is reproducing everything in your audio accurately. In addition to the extensive collection of bundled Pro Tools plugins, I also have the iZotope RX Advanced audio repair suite to clean up field audio, a large collection of Slate Digital and Waves plugins – notably the L3 Multi-band Limiter and WLM Plus Loudness Meter – and a handful of boutique plugins to deliver sounds ranging from high-precision utility work to classic equipment modeling; essential tools for providing broadcast and presentation ready audio masters.
Process and Delivery
I work to your specification providing in-progress snapshots, time-tracking data, and availability by phone, email, and video conference. Digital delivery is provided through Dropbox, hard drives and other physical assets returned by FedEx, and broadcast shipping available through select providers.
